Food Allergy Cards

Here's a good tip from the Wall St Journal about allergy cards.
If you have food allergies or dietary restrictions, carry allergy cards that list the foods you can't eat so you can give them to a waiter or restaurant manager when you dine out.

Allergycards.com has free templates.  Selectwisely can translate them into any language if you are going abroad.  They also have a number of testimonials from customers who say how invaluable the cards are.

Once you have your cards done, you can adapt them to business card size and have them printed free, except for a shipping charge at Vistaprint.

If you have a serious allergy, allergy cards could just save your life.

Good point about cards to alert food allergies.
I found a great site which provides medisafe alert cards which also carries medical details and identification. Worth checking out www.safefamilycards.com

I liked your site, but couldn't find create boxes for some of my food allergies. Can these cards be custom made? For example, I'm lactose intollerant of milk, but okay with cheese products of all sorts. Bananas, legumes, citris, too, but am fine with all meats, fish, veggies (except legumes) amd most anything else save gluten. Thanks for any help, as I really would like to have something to show the waiter in English and Spanish as I live in New Mexico.
