King Tut Unveiled.

In Egypt, King Tut's face is unveiled for the first time in 3000 years where he is now on display in a glass box for tourists who visit his tomb in Luxor.

  King Tut Unveiled

Fragile Mummy
The mystery surrounding King Tutankhamen -- who ruled during the 18th dynasty and ascended to the throne at age 8 -- and his glittering gold tomb has entranced fans of ancient Egypt since Carter's discovery, which revealed a trove of fabulous gold and precious stone treasures and propelled the once-forgotten pharaoh to global stardom.

Tut wasn't Egypt's most powerful or important king, but his staggering treasures, rumors of a mysterious curse that plagued Carter and his team -- debunked by experts long ago -- and several books and TV documentaries dedicated to him have added to his mystique.

 King Tut Reconstructed

Above is a "reconstruction" of his face, built after 1700 CT scans by a team of forensic artists and scientists.  He doesn't look at all like Steve Martin.

this is very interesting facts about kig tut

Posted by: tavianna at August 29, 2008 2:53 PM

this is so strange how a king at 19 would just die. but people say that he died of a misquito bite but that's part of it and other people say that he died of injury in war. that's not part.but i now what happend. from the picture that person isn't king tut. he is a fake. and the mask isn't what he looks like.the king wan't that rich and royal or didn't get respected that much only his servants respected him that's why they are4 his servants. he died of a deasiss, misquito bite and a fight with one of his best friends and one night when he was asleep his friend had like a hard black rock and he crushed it on the back of his head. it was a mix. it was murder and of a misquito bite on his left cheek. because if you look really hard you can find a dot and that's the mosquito bite. i want to become a sientist when i grow up and i saw that he had the royal king size and the king face of his father that was married to the bad queen. queen nefertiti.

Wouldn't his skin tone be a bit darker? and nose more wide spread?

Egyptians are not "black." They are African in the sense that they live in Africa, but ethnically speaking they are closer to people of Arab or European descent then they are to people of African descent. Egyptians are Africans but they are not "black" like other groups of African origin.

First of, there is no such thing as a "Black" race. Africans were label "Black" by North American slave traders to create a framework for racial discrimination.

Egyptians(Modern and Ancient) with the exception of the Black Nubians/people of Kemit(southern lower 1/4 of Egypt and the Sudan) conquered by the Arabs(Middle Eastern), are Semitic White like the closely related Jews(Middle Eastern), as proven by both DNA tests(haplo groups) on mummies and modern Egyptians(Semitic White) and Nubian Egyptians(Black) as well as skeletal points and measurements(mainly the skull).

The Black Nubians made pacts with the Arabs to be Pharoahs to avoid total annhilation. For about a hundred years, there were Black Nubian Egyptian Dynasties. The Arabs gave Egypt(Arabic-since 5,000 B.C.) its name.

The different skin colors of the Egyptians on walls demonstrates the differences in the two ethinicities. King TUT has many facial features of an ethnic mix(half Arab Semitic White/half Nubian Black),often represented anywhere from a golden brown color to a Black color, like Anwar Sadat(father- Egyptian Arab Semitic White-mother-Black Sudanese) denied this until shortly before his death.

Many of the people on wall art are, in fact, Black Nubian Egyptian slaves(also some free) as well as peoples of other ethnic backgrounds(small sampling of the Arabs(Semitic Whites) and other peoples(Blacks and other ethinicities and admixtures):

Most Arabs (Semitic White) have swarthy olive-colored(golden brown) skin like some European Whites-Iranians/Persians-IndoEuropean Aryans(are NOT Arab although speak Arabic and many are Muslim) as in Hitler, Greeks, Italians, southern Germans and so on.

In 2050 when Caucasians are no longer the majority in America, you will probably see "new" DNA results and classifications suddenly appear.
